With less than a year before the 2022 General Election different political leaders are aligning themselves for the oncoming presidential elections which have led to the rise of the politics of economic policies in an attempt to revamp the economy which has been ravaged by the Covid 19 pandemic.
According to the former senate deputy speaker Kithure Kindiki, the oncoming General Election will be challenging in the country since 1963 since the head of state President Uhuru Kenyatta is against his deputy political aspirations to succeed him even though he has stood with for 10 years.
This barely comes at a time when the political temperature in the country is rising as different politicians have stated launching their bid to battle for the top seat in the country to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta whose time in office will expire next year.
"The oncoming General Election will be the most challenging since 1963, with the outgoing President waging an all-out political war on his Deputy of 10 years. We pray for a peaceful transition."
