He is also being accompanied by several high profile leaders among them elected Members of Parliament from the wider Ukambani region as well as from other areas from the country.
The deputy president William Ruto is set to officiate several high profile events in the county under the leadership of his host Jonathan Mueke.
The former Nairobi county deputy governor Jonathan Mueke has declared interest in taking over the county leadership from the current governor Charity Karuki Ngilu.
He is expected to face a tough challenge since he will be using the deputy president William Ruto's allies United Democratic Alliance movement Party which is not very well known in Ukambani.
The area residents are greatly allied to the Wiper party which is associated with former vice President Kalonzo Musyoka.
