Kenya is now remaining with less than a year for it to go for a general elections as per the current constitution which dictates that the citizens of Kenya should be given a chance to elect their new leader after every five years right from the president to the MCA. Now, Dp Ruto is among those candidates who are seeking to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta as the fifth president of Kenya. He is expected to face other prominent leaders including hon Raila Odinga.
Now, today, Dr William Ruto has been handed an headache from his Riftvalley region. This came in after reports emerged on what his allies from Riftvalley are now doing ahead of 2022. As reported by the Taifa Leo, Leaders from this region expecially those giving their support to Dp Ruto are now fighting for political posts with each one of them seeking Dp Ruto's endorsement.
For example, in Uasin Gishu, the Soy Member of parliament hon Caleb Kositany is fighting for gubernatorial seat while Kapseret member of parliament hon Oscar sudi is against his ambitions. In Nandi county, governor Stephen Sang is fighting With Senator Samson Cherargei for the governor's seat. Same case applies to Narok County where three of Dp Ruto's allies namely; Hon Patrick Ole Ntutu, Hon Soipan Tuiya And Hon Gabriel Tongoyo are fighting each other for the same seat.This will be an headache to Ruto as these fights among his allies might end up being something worse which might bring divisions inside his camp ahead of the much awaited 2022 presidential race.
