Since Sunday, a few Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission personnel have been detained for a variety of offenses, including conspiring with candidates. According to the current, trustworthy news we have from The Standard Media, a polling clerk has been detained after he allegedly gave four ballots to one voter this afternoon.

At the Gatina Primary School polling place in Nairobi County's Dagoretti North Constituency, the polling clerk is alleged to have given one voter four ballots. Members of the public roughed up the voting clerk, but police were able to remove him from the scene because the crowd had already turned hostile.

Millions of Kenyans participated in the August 9 general elections, casting their votes for their preferred candidates as the campaigning came to a conclusion on Saturday, August 6, 2022. By midday today, according to the reports we have from the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission update that just took place, almost 6.6 million Kenyans had voted for their respective candidates.

Although there haven't been many issues, certain locations have claimed that the Kiems Kit hasn't recognized them, forcing the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission to use the manual register.
