Nyeri County Residents have for the first time vowed to reject the Building Bridges Initiative. This is after reports published by another local station today have revealed that residents have in the recent days demanded an additional of new constituencies, adding that their county has a huge population size and the BBI secretariat weren't serious during the allocation of the 70 new Constituencies across the 47 counties.
According to the video clip shared by Citizen Tv through it's twitter account handle, Residents have highlighted different views as to why they might reject the BBI Report even though County Assemblies in the Mt Kenya region promised to obey President Uhuru Kenyatta's order.
They have requested President Uhuru Kenyatta to immediately visit the region in the coming days in person and see how his administration's projects failed long time ago. For example, they have reported that unemployment, lack of clean water in some parts of Nyeri and lack of basic needs have continued to drive residents to languish in extreme poverty.
In summary, Nyeri County Residents have vowed to Reject BBI on the basis that the Jubilee Government has failed to deliver it's promises to Kenyan, and they are now wondering how BBI will solve their problems.
