There has been speculation that President Uhuru might be considering settling in ANC leader MusaliaMudavadi as his choice ahead of the 2022 general elections.
His decision is however said to not go well with ODM who might have been wanting him to endorse Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
This has led to immense pressure from allies of Mudavadi calling on Raila to shelve his presidential ambitions and support Mudavadi come 2022.
Suna East Member of Parliament Junet Mohammed who is also a key ally of Raila Odinga has finally broken silence and spoken on Raila supporting Mudavadi.
As established by the Star today, Junet has revealed that a Musalia presidency is just a story for them.
He has warned that the narrative of Raila supporting Mudavadi was deemed to end in tears since politics is a game of numbers and numbers is what will determine the next president.
According to Junet, the issue of people supporting me others will not work and that ODM was not going for anything short of power in 2022.
