President Uhuru Kenyatta and Orange Democratic Movement Party leader Raila Odinga have been walking in a tight rope after their sponsored Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) was rulled as null and void by high court Judges.
The fate of BBI has however taken the center stage of daily political talks, with proponents seeking to appeal the rulling of the 5 controversial judges in the court of appeal and the supreme court.
Mr Kioni has alleged that after their Monday meeting, they reached an agreement to look at the bills in the BBI report but not part of the Constitution of Kenya, where he has asserted that they will be working on them to come out as bills that will benefit Kenyas without going to the referendum.
This is a relief to the head of State and his handshake soulmate, as the proposed Bills that will benefit the people can still be enacted as part of the Constitution despite the failure of BBI.
