1. DR. CAROLINE KARUGU (NYERI COUNTY)
The Nyeri Deputy Governor Dr. Caroline Karugu recently hot the headlines after she sued the county Governor Mutahi Kahiga and the County secretary over alleged withholding of her salary and allowances since 2019.
2. DR. NICHOLAS ATUDONYANG (WEST POKOT COUNTY)
West Pokot County is Governed by Governor John Lonyangapuo and his deputy is Dr. Nicholas Atudonyang. Dr. Atudonyang moved abroad immediately after he was sworn in to take office as the deputy governor in 2017. He resides in the US where he works as a family doctor.
3. PETER NDAMBIRI (KIRINYAGA COUNTY)
The Kirinyaga deputy governor is Peter Ndambiri. Months after he and his governor Anne Waiguru were sworn into office, Peter Ndambiri was trending all over the mainstream media and social media after a video surfaced where he was allegedly fornicating with an unknown lady in a hotel room. The deputy governor has also stated that he will be in the race to become the third Kirinyaga County Governor stating in the next general elections.
