Over time, the NARC-Kenya party leader hon Martha Karua have been leaning towards president Uhuru Kenyatta and his handshake brother hon Raila Odinga. It all started after it became very clear that president Uhuru Kenyatta may not support his deputy Dr William Ruto. Though she was leaning towards uhuraila's team, Karua always maintains that she will vie for presidency come 2022.
Now, yesterday in the night, hon Karua is reported to have slightly changed her tune on Dp Ruto's presidential bid. Talking during a live interview with Inooro Tv, hon Karua declared that Dp Ruto will easily penetrate to the Mount Kenya region. According to Karua, Dp Ruto's political language is easily understood by many people in Mount Kenya. In the side of Raila Odinga, Karua said that it might not be easy for him to climb the mountain.
"Residents of the larger Mount Kenya Region are not controlled like kids. Actually, they know what to do. Raila meeting with the Mt Kenya Tycoons will not change anything. I think it is easy for them to understand DP Ruto's Political language/Style of Politics." She Said.
This statement by Karua is a change of tune as she is known to have been leaning towards the ODM boss hon Raila Odinga and this will be a big win to Dp Ruto ahead of 2022.
