There was a cloud of confusion in Rift Valley after area MP was forced to cut short his speech due to chaos. This is in Cherengany Constituency whereby area MP Joshua Kutuny had been invited for a social function. As expected, there was a huge turnout by the area residents to hear their area MP who will be defending his seat come the 2022 general elections
However at one point, some rowdy youths engulfed Joshua Kutuny as they demanded for money. This saw the event to be abandoned as the demanding of money turned chaotic by the area residents. It is note yet clear whether this Jubilee party MP met the demands of this youths who were threatening to chase him away
It is good to note that Kutuny boasts a huge following in North Rift despite the fact that he is amongst the Rift Valley leaders who are against Deputy President William Ruto's presidential bid.
