It is going to be the second time Jamleck will be vying for the gubernatorial seat, after his first attempt in 2017 proved futile when he lost in the Jubilee primaries.
Kamau noted he skipped the political limelight to give the recent governor humble time to complete his time but he now says that he is certain this is the right time to come back again.
“I skipped politics to give the incumbent governor humble time to deliver his work and the president kenyatta had also warned us from too early campaigns,” he said.
While addressing congregants in Murang’a on Tuesday, June 29, Kamau noted Wa Iria has successfully completed his work and it’s now his turn to resume adding that he will work closely with fellow leaders to ensure he pushes the development record to the next level.
“I thanked governor Wa Iria for the good work he has delivered to the people of Murang’a and since his term is coming to and end am looking forward to take over from him,” he said.
“I will make sure all the pending projects which Wa Iria has launched are completed before starting on new ones,” the former legislator added.
