BBI is dead and Shall Never Resurrect –Uasin Gishu Women Rep, Gladys Boss Sholei

Uasin Gishu women representative Gladys Boss Sholei now says the Building Bridges Initiative is dead and shall never resurrect again.

Speaking to the press Sholei says the bill was illegal from the word go since it did not follow due process.

“What I know I can assure you one thing, the BBI dead and shall never resurrect again because the

case in the High Court will end in August thereafter it will be taken to the supreme, I can say without fear of contradiction that the case continue until January and January it will be too late to hold a referendum,” said the Uasin Gishu women representative while speaking to the press.

She said that BBI is the biggest fraud in Kenyan history.

“Don’t cheat Uasin Gishu residents that they will be given three constituencies, constituencies are not made in that BBI boardroom in Nairobi but it's made in the ground, if IEBC has not come to the ground to discuss, that is a big lie,” she added.

She further said that attorney general Paul Kihara has failed the president by misadvising him.

“The attorney general has failed the president because he is a very intelligent man and he knows very well that the BBI appeal is going nowhere, I think it's either no one wants to inform the president or sleeping on the job,” she said.

She further called on the resident to continue following the directives by the Ministry of Health to prevent the further spread of coronavirus.

“I want to urge residents to continue washing their hands before and after every activity, avoid overcrowded places, put on facemasks and if possible stay at home to prevent further spread of the virus,”she advised.
