"I Am Not Shetani" Vocal Politician Forced To Explain The Origin Of His Name In Presence Of DP Ruto

Khatib Abdalla Mwashetani is a Kenyan politician. He is the current sitting Lungalunga constituency Member of Parliament. Hon Khatib Abdalla Mwashetani was first elected in the Kenyan National Assembly which is the lower house of the Parliament in the March 4th 2013 Kenyan General Elections. He was elected on a Forum for Restoration of Democracy-Kenya ticket. Hon Khatib Abdalla Mwashetani has since shifted camp and joined Deputy President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto's United Democratic Alliance party of Kenya.

The vocal politician from the Coastal region of Kenya was forced to explain the origin of his name in presence of Deputy President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto while in Kwale County. According to Hon Khatib Abdalla Mwashetani, he said that he is not a ghost or otherwise Shetani as translated in Kiswahili. He said that he is Mwashetani and not Shetani.
