President Uhuru Kenyatta has lately kept off opposition politics and focused his energy in ensuring he achieved his agenda ahead of the 2022 general. He has remained clear on his agenda leaving Raila Odinga and the entire handshake camp on their own to fight for their space ahead of 2022 general election.
The fact of the matter is that Raila Odinga expected a direct endorsement from President Uhuru Kenyatta something that seems not forthcoming. It's clear already that the wave of hustlers nation is sweeping across all corners of the country leaving the opposition camp in confusion.
The fact that Uhuru Kenyatta seems to have abandoned his succession plans will more so disadvantage Raila Odinga to the advantage of DP Ruto. However it's clear as we move forward only time will tell of what will unfold as we move into the 2022 general election.
The fact that the BBI report collapsed dead has ruined a lot of Uhuru Kenyatta plans clearly leaving the handshake camp into confusion and in trouble. Therefore only time will tell of what will unfold though its clear Uhuru seems to have moved on away from his succession plans.
