Governor Ndiritu Muriithi & Kanini Kega Pen Strong Messages Concerning Raila Ahead of His Nyeri Tour

Laikipia Governor Ndiritu Muriithi and Kieni MP Kanini Kega have claimed that the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has successfully climbed Mount Kenya Region in search of votes.

The duo who have been drumming support for Raila's bid said that all political routes are clear that Raila will likely be the next president after President Uhuru Kenyatta retires next year.

As quoted by the Star, Muriithi said that Raila opponents have realized that he can climb the mountain since in the past few weeks, his reception across different counties of the region has been overwhelming.

"Critics initially dismissed Raila’s efforts to penetrate the Mount Kenya region, but the last few months have sent them back to the drawing board. Baba has climbed the mountain," said Ndiritu.

Kega, a Jubilee MP argued that 2022 will be a Mandela moment for the country as Kenyans have gained trust in Raila, and with the reception of his Azimio La Umoja meetings, it is evident that his fifth stab at the presidency would be a life changing experience for him and the nation.

"I can assure you Raila is the only presidential candidate with influential regional leaders on his team. It is time for a Raila presidency," said Kega.

Raila will tour Nyeri County this weekend and will be hosted by Governor Mutahi Kahiga.
