Makueni County Women Representative Rose Museo is the newest candidate to declare her interest in vying of Makueni county gubernatorial seat.
Speaking after meeting with residents the vibrant women representative said that it was time for the makueni county to experience the leadership of a woman saying that a woman knows how to handle a family.
"Do you know that governor kibwana is going to go home and the governor's seat will be vacant, and a woman knows the needs of a family and it is time that seat is given to a lady and I am interested in it," she said.
"If through my kitty as a women representative I did a lot of development what of when I become a governor of the county? I will do more," she added.
Museo has been the women representative for makueni county since 2013.
Others interested in the seat include KMTC chairman Philip Kaloki, Kibwezi West MP Patrick Musimba, Makueni senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior among others.
