Cracks In Kenya Kwanza as affiliate parties detest six piece vote

United Democratic Association party has told off affiliate parties in Kenya Kwanza Alliance complaining that they were being frustrated in the latest contest. Johnson Muthama the UDA chairman has said that those parties fielding candidates at the county and parliamentary level should not expect any favors, and the agreement in the Alliance is based only on the support for Deputy President William Ruto's state house bid, "coalition is based on supporting the presidential candidate. It is not based supporting each others candidates", said Honorable Muthama.

This was refuted by the Service Party leader Mwangi Kiunjuri who the previous day said that talk by any other leader in the alliance was insignificant unless Kenya Kwanza Alliance leader Dr Ruto clarifies the matter, he accused Rigathi Gachagua who is Ruto's running mate of "selling for six piece" votes for UDA in Mt Kenya region at the expense of candidates sponsored by other parties in the Kenya Kwanza Alliance.

UDA gave assurance to the displeased parties in the alliance that they will be treated equally, Presidential Secretary General Governor Nanok , yesterday asked the affiliate parties to promptly raise any issue that they feel uncomfortable with.
