The race to next year's general election is on.Raila Odinga and William Ruto have strongly hit the road running. They are marshalling their troups to ensure that they capture the much coveted seat in the country.
Raila Odinga is seen to be getting support from the President. While in Kibra some days ago,the President hinted at supporting Odinga feeling that it is Odinga who will complete his agenda for the country. However, this support has not been augering well with DP Ruto.
Odinga met the MKF leaders a fortnight ago. They have also met the OKA principals. However, speculations are rife that the OKA principals may be enticed to support Odinga since Kenyatta has been making frantic efforts towards this.MKF chairman Peter Munga has also hinted on this saying that their unity is better for the country.
As this plan goes on,Odinga is set to declare his presidential bid in November. However, his declaration is timed to coincide with the Limuru 3 declation that will unveil the region's preferred Kenyatta's successor. This is aimed at giving Odinga a headstart. Will OKA hold on to this?
