On March 13, the Maasai Council of Elders responded to Azimio la Umoja's call for a mass action by making an unexpected move in the direction of Mr. Odinga's new strategy. This response came the day after the Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition's mass action rally in Narok.
Maasai Council of Elders is currently pleading with the opposition leader to follow the constitution in resolving the concerns they have brought out on the table as reported by KBC channel rather than igniting protests.
They contend that Raila Odinga, the former prime minister, need to respond to his most recent action of organizing a mass demonstration against Ruto's administration by retaliating, citing the Supreme Court's decision as the final judgment, which Azimio la Umoja leaders ought to accept.
Their outspoken statement comes days after Raila Odinga and Azimio La Umoja, one of the leaders of the Kenya Coalition, visited Narok County to promote their mass action approach, which will, in their opinion, cause the Kenya Kwanza government to cut living expenses.
According to reports, Mr. Odinga has been dealt a devastating blow since he continues to believe that the Kenya Kwanza government is "illegitimate" and must leave the White House.
Do you agree with the Maasai Council of Elders' opinion of Raila Odinga's demand for a mass protest, to wrap things up?
