As we approach August 9 general election, the country is experiencing heightened political activities. Political temperature are raising and leaders are preparing to run for various seats. Presidential election is taking new sharp with political bigwigs strategizing to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta who will be retiring after August 9 poll.
Deputy president Dr William Ruto and Raila Odinga stands a big chance to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta. The two have since launched their presidential campaigns and one of them will form government this year.
Today, we examine cabinet secretaries in Uhuru government who may still work in Ruto's and Raila's government due to their outstanding work in their ministries.
The first one is Dr Fred Matiang. Dr Fred Matiang is a performer and his work was clearly seen when he was in ministry of ICT. In ministry of education he brought sanity and led to an end of examination cheating. He transformed the ministry of education and fruits of his good work can be seen every where. In ministry of interior he has brought discipline among men and women in uniform. He will still be considered in any government because of his good work.
The second one is Najib Balala. The tourism cabinet secretary has transformed tourism and hospitality sector since he was appointed as cabinet secretary. This is brain that cannot be left out of any government.
Finally is Eugine Wamalwa, he did good work when serving as devolution cabinet secretary and he has since been elevated to ministry of defence. He will still be considered in either Ruto or Raila's government.
