My beloved readers, thank you again, and welcome warmly to my daily news updates
Today morning the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission IEBC Vice Chairperson Juliana Cherera announced that she has resigned.
According to a letter to President William Samoei Ruto, Cherera indicated that after consultation with the family and her lawyers she agreed to vacate office due to the current events at the commission.
She went ahead and revealed that she was ready to work and do her responsibilities diligently at IEBC. She said that she is unhappy because of the misjudgment and misinterpretation of what she did in good faith.
"My total duties that I did in good faith were unfortunately misjudged and misinterpreted." She lamented.

It should be remembered that earlier President Ruto had chosen a five-member committee to do investigations on the four IEBC commissioners who differed with IEBC Chair Wafula Chebukati during the general elections on August 9 this year.
