
The 13th Parliament Is currently in session with the main business of the day being the debating of Cabinet nominees Who where recently vetted by the Parliament Select Committee which was being led by the speaker Moses wetangula.

Approving their appointments the Majority Leader who happens to be from the Kenya Kwanzaa coalition which is being led by the President William ruto approved on the 22 Norman is saying that they are fit to take over the different Ministries in the country.

This happening as the opposition opposed the move saying that some of the cabinet secretaries were not fit for the job since they were implicated in corrupt activities and head cases pending before the courts. Speaking on the floor of the house junet Mohamed singled out 3 cabinet officials whom he said are not suitable for the job.
The three included the cabinet secretary in charge of energy David Chirchir, his counterpart for gender Aisha Jumwa and Mithika Linturi who has 26 cases pending in court.
