Political temperatures in the country have started growing gradually since it is only one year that is remaining for general elections which are scheduled to take place on 09.08.2022 and their shall be contentions for presidency, governors, senators, members of parliament, women representatives and members of county assemblies.
As president Uhuru Mwigai Kenyatta serves his last term in office as provided by the 2010 Kenyan constitution, the race to succed him is expected to be tough as deputy president William Ruto fronts himself, One Kenya Alliance principals are also eyeing the seat and political enigma Raila Amollo Odinga alias "Baba" although he has not yet declared his ambition officially.
