Kirinyaga County will host this year's Mashujaa Day Celebrations on Wednesday 20th October 2021, which is President Uhuru Kenyatta's last Mashujaa Day Celebration as President ahead of his retirement.
Kenya is set to host an African President who will accompany President Uhuru to Kirinyaga for the National celebration.
State House has revealed that Kenya will host HE Hon. Lazarus Chakwera, President of the Republic of Malawi who will arrive in the country on Tuesday 19th for a three-day State Visit of the Republic of Kenya and he will be the Chief Guest for this year's Mashujaa Day Celebrations.
In a statement by State House Spokesperson Kanze Dena, President Chakwera, who will be accompanied by Her Excellency Mrs Monica Chakwera, the First Lady of the Republic of Malawi, will be the Chief Guest at this year's Mashujaa Day Celebrations that will be held at Wang'uru Stadium.
In her statement, the State House Spokesperson has added that His Excellency President Lazarus Chakwera and his delegation will be officially received at State House, Nairobi by his hosts on Thursday, 21st October 2021.
