When they choose their preferred running mate from the Mt Kenya region, the duo's popularity shifted. The popularity of the two candidates was clearly influenced by their running mates.
Infrotrak had previously polled the former prime minister ahead of DP Ruto. Raila Odinga's lead had shrunk, but neither of them had gained more than 50%.
According to Radio Africa polls, if the election were held today, there would be no winner. The winner is expected to receive more than half of all votes. As election day approaches, all eyes will be on the two presidential contenders.
