Details about what happened when the late president Daniel Moi was still in power have surfaced. Martha Karua worked as a government employee during that time. President Moi convened a gathering to bring together workers in the government sector. When Martha Karua walked out of a conference hosted by "feared" president His Excellency HE Daniel Arap Moi, Kenyans recognized how pollitically gutsy and brave she is.
The president was a jerk, but Kenyans recognized Martha as a courageous politician when she allegedly walked out of his meeting. She stated that she was capable of going far without fear of anything, despite the fact that President Moi was no joke. Walking out of a meeting chaired by president Moi not only put you in risk of losing your job, but it also put you in danger of receiving orders or charges from the president. Martha Karua, on the other hand, did not contemplate the consequences of her actions.
