The race to succeed the head of State, president Uhuru Kenyatta is already taking shape with prospective candidates already jogging to seek popularity and support from the electorate ahead of 2022.
Bishop Margaret Wanjiru was speaking in a Nairobi church on Sunday 11 July where she expressed her confidence that the second in command will be sworn in as the country's head of state in 2022.
She further encouraged Kenyans to continue praying for William Ruto on his journey to succeed his boss, president Uhuru Kenyatta.
She said Kenya is blessed to have a deputy president who can quote the bible verses adding that by the help of God he will be sworn in as the Kenya's next president after 2022 polls.Photo: Deputy President William Ruto.
"With the help of God, we will be swearing him in as our president in 2022. Let us continue praying for him and offer our assistance to him where we can," Wanjiru said.
Bishop Margret Wanjiru is one of the candidates eyeing the Nairobi county gubernatorial seat in 2022.
