Raila Odinga the party leader for ODM an the former prime minister has just tweeted about the Bonchari and Juja by-election that was concluded yesterday. The ODM candidate Pavel Oimeke won the election with 8049 votes. On Juja the UDA candidate won the elections.
Raila Odinga has critisized what was witnessed there and he said it was an abuse of power and arrogance display of impunity by a few overzealous and bellicose government functionaries. He also said that an election process is the platform for voters to exercise their will at the ballot and not the avenue to pursue the interest of short-legged politician interest. Security exists to serve the people and not the interest of those out to conduct political experiments.
These tweet resulted to mixed reactions from his followers some of which are impressed that he has gone back to what he is supposed to be, and others advised him Io continue and leave Uhuru alone.
We had missed Raila true identify with the BBI narratives and that it's gone lest him continue being on opposition, he served best there. What do you think of Raila's reaction ?
