The celebrated journalist divulged that Ruto is not the right man to succeed Uhuru Kenyatta once he retires next year; revealing that Ruto's arrogance could see him rule beyond his term.
The bold Ugandan lawyer made his headlines in Kenya in 2013 when Uhuru and Ruto were aligned to face charges in ICC.
Matsanga questioned how sure Kenyans are with Ruto in power when he was called by Uhuru Kenyatta to resign but fails to obey his boss.
He quickly concludes that Ruto will fail to surrender powers if elected as president in 2022. He said that Ruto cannot be trusted with the presidency if he cannot obey simple Uhuru's instructions.
"If a man is DP today and doesn't want to resign through his conscience, after a disagreement with his boss on policy, what will stop this man when elected as president of Kenya 2022 to refuse to hand over power when his term ends in 2027?" Matsanga asked.
