The 2022 General Elections are finally about to come to a conclusion as results continue to stream in from different parts of the country.
As it had been expected, the 2022 race has been two horse race between the Azimio la Umoja Coalition Party and the Kenya Kwanza alliance led by Deputy President William Ruto.
The results have so far shown that the Deputy President's UDA party has performed well in the Mt Kenya region compared to the ruling Jubilee party so far.
Earlier today, Jubilee Senatorial Candidate for Nyeri County Priscilla Nyokabi has conceded defeat after losing the race to a UDA candidate. According to Nyokabi, the UDA wave has been too strong for other parties, especially in Nyeri County where Rigathi Gachagua hails from.
She noted that it was time to move on. It now remains to be seen whether the Party will produce a Similar performance in the Presidential race.
