Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot has Hit the Nail on the head,as the speaks on the entire Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) process and the circumstances leaders opposing the BBI process have found themselves in.
Speaking on Tuesday during the Citizen TV Newsnight discussions on Building Bridges Initiative,Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot said that he will not support the 2020 Constitution Amendment Bill,claiming that the whole process contained blackmail,intimidation and bribery right from the County Assemblies.
“The reason why I will never give a thumbs of approval to this BBI process is because of the spirit that guides this particular process; blackmail, intimidation, bribery right from the county assembly…”
Senator Cheruiyot went on and revealed that anyone who tried to speak against the the BBI Bill put themselves in danger. They found themselves on a difficult situation,as they are Allegedly trailed by police and called by strange people to cease from opposing the Bill.
“Those that have attempted to speak against this particular process have found themselves in very difficult circumstances; being trailed by police, being called by strange people…”
