Kisumu County Governor Professor Peter Anyang' Nyon'go has responded to the recent blames by the Senate on him and his government.
Some Senators blamed Kisumu County Governor Anyang' Nyon'go for the demolition of property in Kisumu County that left residents suffering huge losses.
Governor Nyon'go has condemned the use of privilege by the Senators to blame him for the demolitions stating that the demolitions of property in Kisumu County was done by the Kenya Railways and not by his government.
"I would like to condemn, in the strongest terms possible, the irresponsible manner in which some members of the @Senate_KE today used their privilege in the House to blame my government for the demolition of property in @KisumuCountyKE . This was done by @KenyaRailways_!" Nyon'go said.
In a statement to the press, the Governor stated that the demolitions were one by the Railaways cooperation and has invited the Senate to visit Kisumu County and get the facts on the ground.
