A Chopper carrying the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader landed at Naaro highschool in Kandara constituency. He has then proceed to Ihura stadium where he is expected to hold a mega rally to drum up support for his presidential bid in August polls.

Raila Odinga has been accompanied by several leaders allied to Azimio La Umoja movement. The leaders are led by Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya who is also an ODM deputy party leader.

It has been a twist of events in Ihuru stadium after the stadium turned red instead of blue colour of Azimio movement, when a huge crowd of Murang'a residents allied to the ruling party jubilee stormed the stadium. This is an indication that, those thinking the party is dead have had a rude shock.

This is coming at time when the deputy president William Ruto is also in the central to spread the gospel of bottom up economic model. The jubilee supporters presences shows Ruto has a huge task as the former prime minister continues to climb the mountain.
