The most awaited day has finally arrived. Kenyans are eagerly waiting to hear who has won the presidential seat. This is after sleepless nights of counting of the votes.
To begin with, the arrangements has been changed in the Bomas to prepare for this special event. Security is seen to be administered as the security officers are at the place. This shows that the exercise is to be conducted without any disturbance.
Choir is busy singing praise songs to thank the almighty and also to plead for peace in the country. Politicians from different parts of the country are seen to enjoy the songs too. This is a good image that shows Kenyans that despite being in different parties, Kenya is still one.
As we wait for the final announcement from Wafula Chebukati, may we ensure we pray for peace and unity. May the fifth president lead this our country well.
