MCA Aspirant Cries Foul After Using Helb Money In Campaigns Only For Him To Lose The Seat

A young MCA aspirant vying under a Wiper Party ticket but lost on the ballot has gone viral after recording a video of him lamenting about the loss on the seat.

Festus Kithinji says that he used all his savings to carry out his campaigns only for him to lose in the elections.

Kithinji said he felt played after losing the position which he had saved for even using his HELB funds after starting his journey on the political career three years ago.

"I have utilised all my resources, I've been saving, even my HELB, since I was in campus, saving for this election," said Kithinji.

He also felt cheated as he was leading in almost all the opinion polls but come August 9th, it did reflect on the ballot.

"As I stand here, my bank account reads zero, I put all my efforts there thinking you are giving me this, you people are liers, why did you lie to me, calling me mheshimiwa, yet you knew you will never give me your votes," Githinji cried out.

Kithinji was also bitter as he did not secure even a single vote in some polling stations with others telling him that 2027 will be better for him.

He also said he is thinking about quitting politics and that people should never call him at any event.
