Dagoretti North Member of Parliament Paul Simba Arati has been camping in Kisii County holding numerous rallies. Remember Arati showed interest in contesting for the gubernatorial seat in a bid to succeed Governor James Ongwae who is expected to complete his terms next year. In his rallies, they are always together with Momoima Onyoka who expressed a long time ago that he will be vying for the senatorial seat.
Today he received more than 3000 United Democratic Alliance defectors who joined the Orange Democratic Movement ahead of the 2022 elections.
"Baba's house will have many rooms. Today I have received more than 3,000 UDA defectors to our ODM Party." He wrote on Facebook.
Yesterday Arati had a fruitful meeting with the people of Bomariba, Sensi, Kegogi and Monyerero wards whereby he appreciated the residents for their unwavering support to ODM leader Raila Odinga.
