General elections in Kenya are conducted after every five years on the second Tuesday of the month of August in the election year therefore for the case of the the next general elections in Kenya, they are going to be held on 9th August 2022 in the six levels of leadership of presidency, governors, senators, members of Parliament, women representatives and members of county assemblies.
The central focus in the next general elections will be in the presidency as the incumbent president Uhuru Kenyatta serves his second and last term in office thus he won't be eligible to vie again. The presidential race is expected to involve political supremo and Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga.

In order for Raila Odinga to win the presidential race as expected, his choice for a running mate will play a vital role tvoters, case Raila chooses Martha Karua as his running mate he will beat his rivals easily because he will be voted for massively by women in the country because they will wish to see the first woman deputy president in Kenya, on the other way, Raila will get enough votes from her backyard, the most popularous tribe with over 40% of voters, the Kikuyu.
