Kenyans have reacted after a popular United Democratic Alliance Party Governor stormed a police station demanding for the release of residents that had been arrested by the police.

Embu Governor Cecily Mbarire has sparked reactions online after she stormed Siakago Police Station while demanding for the release of the residents arrested after chaos broke out in Siakago Town between Muguka traders from Meru and residents of Nthawa ward in Mbeere North.

It is reported that in the company of County Police Commander Daniel Rukunga, the Governor adressed the irate residents who complained of increasing insecurity in the region after a scuffle ensued which saw some Muguka shops torched down.
The angry residents complained that some youths from Meru County were involved in schemes to steal motorbikes. The Governor called on the transfer of all police officers Stationed at the Siakago police station.
The incidence has sparked reactions among Kenyans who has the following to say regarding this matter;
