Details have now emerged on the person who gave the Deputy President William Ruto a lucrative job in the government of President Kibaki and later got himself fired for what transpired.
While delivering his speech, a close ally of the ODM party leader Raila Odinga has now stated that the second in command was first given a job as the Minister for Agriculture and was later moved to the Ministry of Education.
According to MP Junet Mohammed, Raila is the person who employed DP Ruto but he was compelled to fire him because of the corruption that took place in his office. He went on to say that this is a clear reason why DP Ruto shouldn't be referring to Raila as a puppet.
