Deputy President William Ruto today joined other leaders in Wang'uru stadium in Kirinyaga County to celebrate Mashujaa Day for Kenyan heroes. He received a warm welcome to the event that had former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and other opposition leaders in attendance.
While giving his speech, DP Ruto left the people chanting after he started congratulating President Uhuru Kenyatta for the good work he has been doing since he became the fourth president of this great nation.
"Your Excellency we celebrate you as our leader. The last nine years has seen unprecedented transformation in our country from the SGR to the almost 11,000 kilometers of tarmac to the almost eight million people connected to electricity to all the transformation in our education sector. Your Excellency your place in the history of Kenya is not only secure but it is prominent. Your legacy as a transformational leader in Kenya will set the standard for the leaders that will come after you," said DP Ruto.
