Kirinyaga Governor Ann Mumbi Waigura has been ranked at number two out of the forty-seven governors in terms of her performance and implementation of the development agenda. The ranking was done by a leading survey institution known as Mizani Africa. These latest results a testament that she has been working.

Top on the list is Tharaka Nithi Governor who scored highest in the ranking. His highest score being his quest in ensuring that development, infrastructure, and education are given priority in his region. He has been known to spearhead education reforms in his country.
Coming in third is youthful governor Stephen Sang who is a close associate of Deputy President William Ruto.
