Mount Kenya leaders are set to meet in Naivasha in a political meeting that is set to chart the vote rich region's political future as 2022 knocks. Speaking to the media, NARC-Kenya leaders and former Gichugu Member of Parliament, Martha Karua outlined the agenda for the meeting.
According to Martha Karua, the meeting will discuss the path Mount Kenya will take a head of 2022 elections. The meeting will discuss among others the importance of multi party system not only in Mount Kenya but across the country. She cautioned any leaders who thinks that Kenya can go back to one party system as witnessed from 1982 to 1991.
They will also put raft of economic benefits they will want to get in the next government revealing that the meeting will discuss Mount Kenya's representation, “one man one shilling"
Karua was accompanied by several Mt. Kenya leaders including Moses Kuria.
