"What happened was a scam" Dp Ruto again on Arror and Kimwarer dams

One of the current political promises made by Vice President (DP) William Ruto and his main rival Raila Odinga to win over voters in the North Rift region is the revival of Arror and Kimwarer

Just days after Odinga of the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition assured citizens of Baringo, Elgeyo Marakwet and West Pokot counties that, if elected, his government would bring the two mega-projects to life, DP Ruto said on Monday that he promises to see them finished.

The DP claimed during a speech in Iten, Elgeyo Marakwet county, that politics had delayed the Arror and Kimwarer dam projects.According to him, if built, the two dams will alleviate the region's water problems and supply water to agricultural land through irrigation systems.By the grace of God, we will continue with the construction of the two dams on August 9.

According to Dr. Ruto, these initiatives will benefit the neighbors to generate electricity, irrigate their land and give water to livestock, all of which is necessary in the region. To advance. "What happened was a scam," he said, "and I want to challenge anyone who has a problem with Arror and Kimwarer to explain their problem. What happened was a political hoax.I'm going to pursue the project if elected."

However, his sentiments did not please the majority of Kenyans, who accused him of lying.
