As 9 August General election approach politics is gaining momentum every day. Different coalitions holding rallies in various counties everyday. Hon Martha Karua, Hon Raila Odinga's running mate in the upcoming presidential election has generated a great deal more noise than the unveiling of Rigathi Gachagua by Deputy President William Ruto.
However, it remains to be seen whether the enthusiasm around the leader of the Narc Kenya would transfer into actual votes for Odinga's fifth presidential run on two crucial parameters: the women's vote and the Mount Kenya region at large.

Today, Martha Karua was in Nyeri county,the town of Karatina, Mathira constituency where Rigathi Gachagua is the MP.
Photos shared online by the Narc Kenya leader Hon Karua through her twitter shows that was welcomed heavily by dozens of Mt Kenya residents.
Martha Karua in a series of campaigns in Mt Kenya Region,as he tries to change the tides against DP Ruto, who is hailed as the most popular in Mt Kenya region.
Karua begun her campaigns immediately after she was named as Raila Odinga's running mate in the August presidential elections.
It will now be waited to be seen who will bring more votes from Mount Kenya region between Rigathi Gachagua and Martha Karua.
