ANC party leader promised Kenyans a political earthquake. Indeed, Mudavadi has delivered by uniting with Deputy President William Ruto. The former Vice President thanked his party for giving him the mandate to go for the top seat.
"I am deeply honoured to be endorsed by the @anc_party delegates as the party's presidential flag bearer in the 2022 polls. Asanteni sana. Uchumi Bora Pesa Mfukoni," Mudavadi tweeted.
Speaking at Bomas of Kenya, William Ruto promises to raise leadership standards. He assured Kenyans that he will not allow politics of deceit to continue ravaging Kenya.
The second promise from Ruto was to protect democracy. He vowed to fight criminalization of divergent views. He warned leaders against misusing state machinery.
Ruto stated that only Musalia Mudavadi's Amani National Congress and his United Democratic Alliance understand what Kenya needs. He assured his supporters that their union was the beginning of a great leadership history.
