Presidential Results: Ruto's Convoy Ready to Leave Karen Ahead of Chebukati's Announcement (Photos)

Deputy President William Ruto's convoy has left his official residence in Karen for Bomas of Kenya.

From a video shared online, a convoy of vehicles could be seen lining up at Karen ready to escort Kenya Kwanza Kwanza Presidential candidate William Ruto to Karen for the big announcement by IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati.

Already, Agano Party Presidential Candidate David Mwaure and his Roots of Kenya counterpart George Wajackoyah have both arrived at the Bomas of Kenya. The two arrived at the same time and made a grand entrance into the fully packed venue.

Already, security is tight outside Ruto's Karen residence. Official Presidential bikes have also arrived at Karen to escort Ruto to Bomas since he is still the Deputy President.

It was, however, their gesture to hold hands together as they waved to the delegates that warmed the hearts of most Kenyans.
