The MPs led by Nduati Ngugi(Gatanga),Wangari Mwaniki(Kigumo, Muturi Kigano( Kangema), Peter Mwaniki of Mathioya and newly nominated senator Isaac Ngugi,have said that they will start engagements to have Peter Kenneth as Raila's running mate in 2022.
The MPs said that Kenneth is already tested leader ,who has been strong supporter of President Kenyatta,and has worked with Raila, which gives him the position to sit at the high table.
"Uhuru will be our advisor when he retires from government.We do believe that Kenneth has all the necessary energy, wisdom tonsit at the national bargaining table," Mathioya MP said.
MP Kimari in his part,said that Mount Kenya should have a leader in the next government,who will make sure Mount Kenya interests are well taken care of.
The leaders also added that Murang'a has always been supportive of past governments and it was time,for their loyalty to be paid.
