Council of Kenya (MCK) conducted a study on media coverage of the 2022 General Election campaign between April 2022 and early June 2022, and their analysis ranked Raila Odinga at 58.7 percent and William Ruto at 36.6 percent as the top two candidates. Jimi Wanjigi came in third with 2.4 percent, while Professor George Wajackoya, the Roots Party's presidential candidate, came in fourth with 0.5 percent media coverage.
