Raila Odinga At 58% And Willliam Ruto At 36% In Media Coverage, Media Council Report Says

Raila Amollo, the leader of the Orange Democratic Movement party, and William Ruto, the vice president, have emerged as the main candidates in the August 9 general elections. Despite enjoying official benefits as the second-in-command, however, Dp William Ruto has complained about the skewed media coverage.

Raila Odinga, the presidential candidate of the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party, is receiving more media coverage than his Kenya Kwanza opponent, Dr. William Ruto, with less than fifty days remaining until the August 9 General Election.Media

Council of Kenya (MCK) conducted a study on media coverage of the 2022 General Election campaign between April 2022 and early June 2022, and their analysis ranked Raila Odinga at 58.7 percent and William Ruto at 36.6 percent as the top two candidates. Jimi Wanjigi came in third with 2.4 percent, while Professor George Wajackoya, the Roots Party's presidential candidate, came in fourth with 0.5 percent media coverage.
