It's clear Ann Waiguru already revealed she would support the deputy president William Ruto moving into the 2022 general election. It's already clear the manner in which DP Ruto has penetrated the Mt Kenya region you cannot really ignore him.
Other Mt Kenya region leaders likely to join William Ruto include Kimani Wamatangi as well Kiambu governor James Nyoro. The fact of the matter is that anybody against William Ruto in Mt Kenya region is seen as an enemy of the mountain as we move into 2022.
Kabogo as well Wamatangi and Sabina Chege are some of the leaders who have completely refused to associate with Raila Odinga. Clearly that confirms they were most likely going to join Ruto but at the right moment given the ground has already shifted against them.
More pronouncements would be coming soon from most leaders in Mt Kenya region who are not conformable with the inroads made by Raila Odinga. It's a fact and clear that UDA is a party that has gained massive footing and ground in Mt Kenya region a reason most leaders are jostling for the party.
