Kenyan representative to the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) Dr. Oburu Oginga has seemingly questioned Deputy President (DP) William Ruto's transformation.

Ruto has over the years taken the shape of a saved politician, accompanying his political undertones with sermons and bible verses.

A section of politicians in the Country have questioned his approach, more so allies of ODM party leader Raila Amollo Odinga.

Speaking in Ugenya Constituency over the weekend, Dr. Oburu who is Raila's elder brother said the DP's transformation is suspect.

He said it is akin to a known night runner suddenly transforming into a Bishop.

“Somebody who was a witch comes to you here and starts preaching as if now he is a bishop. How do you turn yourself from running at night bewitching people and then you say you’re now a bishop?" he paused as quoted by Citizen Digital.

"People of Kenya are not stupid, they know who has been consistent in fighting for the interests of Kenya and who has been in the system,” added Oburu Oginga.

He however forget to indicate that Raila has also over the past few weeks taken the path of going to Church on Sundays and being prayed for, as he prepares to run for president for the 5th time.
